ISLAMABAD: Chief Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) Sardar Raza on Tuesday wrote a letter to Chief of Army Staff (COAS) General Raheel Sharif thanking him for the army personnel’s duty in NA-122 by-election, reported Dunya News.
In his letter to COAS, Sardar Raza thanked the army chief and said that army cooperated with ECP to fulfill their constitutional duty and played an important role in ensuring a free and fair election.
The letter further stated that professionalism and the commitment to duty is a hallmark of Pakistan army. ECP chief also thanked DGMOs and relevant formations for their cooperation.
